This simple and easy-to-use application can take your word collages and poems to an all- new creative level. With WordFoto, students can take images they download or pictures they take in class to create a custom word collage that resembles their image. The app is an ideal way to end a writing or research lesson, because a final image can be created within minutes. Your students can create self portraits with an acrostic poem or paint an image of an historic figure with their significant achievements. There are many ways to incorporate writing Common Core State Standards into a creative a lesson using this app.
How It Works?
- Step 1: Tap the camera or import image icon to bring a picture to the stage.

- Step 2: Tap the crop icon and drag corner dots to select desired section of picture.

- Step 3: Tap the Words button and then select “Add new Word Set” to create your own word list. Type each word, and then tap the plus icon to add another word.

- Step 4: Tap on the style button and choose a style or create a custom style using sliders. Take a few minutes to explore the different custom setting. The best way to learn what each feature does is to try it.


- Step 5:Tap the fine-tune button for more style options. Note that the color tolerance slider is where you can change the font size.

- Step 6:Tap the share icon on the top menu bar to save the image to your device.
